Helen is an architectural and garden historian who is closely involved in the practice’s historic buildings projects. She also specialises in character analysis of cities, towns, and villages and her research provides an understanding of the built heritage of a site and its surroundings. She has researched the history of numerous listed buildings, as well as the evolution of various historic estates, farms, streets, towns, villages and cities throughout the UK. She has recently completed a PhD on Thomas Archer and is now the leading authority on this key architect of the English Baroque.
