Robbie Kerr included in New Architects 4 book

May 12, 2021

This book has been produced by the Architecture Foundation and features the work of 109 British architectural practices, including ADAM director Robbie Kerr.  New Architects 4 is the latest edition of the Architecture Foundation’s long running series.  This 550 page illustrated book is the definitive survey of an emerging generation of British talent.

Robbie Kerr

In 2016 Robbie Kerr became the youngest equity director at ADAM Architecture, where he has his own design team and plays a key role in shaping the next phase of ADAM Architecture. Kerr trained at Edinburgh University and Oxford Brookes before qualifying with distinction from University College London in 2013. He worked with ADAM Architecture throughout his training before joining full time in 2010 and became an associate in 2014.

Within the practice, Kerr has grown his own distinct portfolio of projects and clients. As well as expanding ADAM’S work in London, he has proactively developed work abroad, with ongoing projects in Nigeria, Ghana, Ukraine, Morocco and Hong Kong. These projects range from designing new private homes to the restoration of historic buildings and new housing developments. Throughout all his projects, he is developing his own design ethos and interpretation of the principles of classical architecture.

He has created the ADAM Future Group, a thinktank and discussion forum for young emerging talent at ADAM Architecture.

Kerr is an active contributor to architecture debates and in particular, the acceptance of classical and traditional architecture within the wider architecture arena. He is a Trustee of the Georgian Group and the Commonwealth Heritage Forum, and a member of the Traditional Architectural Group of the RIBA.
