An extension to one of the most attractive and desirable villages in the South West, in the heart of the Somerset hills, Fortescue Fields is built on the site of a derelict chicken processing factory. The new area reflects and adds to the traditional character of the village, using natural stone and locally sourced materials wherever possible. Each of the 51 homes plus commercial space on the 1.8 hectare site is different. The residential units include family homes, apartments and retirement units. Other facilities include a new shop for the village, commercial building, and a striking new public building.
