New housing at Nansledan shortlisted for South West Residential Property Awards

March 31, 2021

We are delighted that Nansledan near Newquay has been shortlisted for the Insider's South West Residential Property Awards in two categories – Large Residential Development of the Year (more than 100 units) and Social Housing Award.

Nansledan is being shaped by a masterplan which seeks to integrate a mix of public spaces, street types and building types. The development is unmistakably urban in form, confident about density and height, with tightly enclosed public spaces. Architecturally, the development draws upon local vernacular building styles, capturing the spirit of Newquay’s urban fabric while remaining unafraid to reinterpret, and supported by the Newquay Pattern Book and a Building Code, in turn shaped by proactive public consultation. Individual attention to detail is evident in every home, with the use of colour an additional finishes providing variety and intrigue, making Nansledan unique and inviting.
